I opened up the boxes and unwrapped the box anchor and sand spike. The first thing I noticed was the 'Made in China' sticker. Good Lord the build quality on these 2 products are shoddy.

The new Deuce has a loop on each end and a cleat in the middle. These loops will attach to both bow cleats for anchoring straight off the bow. The Deuce is also 15ft long.

It has worked well for me so far but know I'm not so sure if the box anchor would've been a better option. I thought that box anchors were more for sandy bottoms with little obstruction.
