The pump pressure on my yanmar vio 45-5 is 3130 psi and on the 55-5 its 3555 psi but both machines have the same motor and pump, the only difference is the 55-5 counter weight is 470 kg heaver then the 45-5 and the arm is 300 mm longer.

If you have two pumps, each pump circuit will have a relief valve. It would be stupid for a manufacturer not to do this. If you have a manual, trace the aux line back and see where it gets it's flow.
